Since moving into our home in February 2008, I must admit that our lifestyle has changed a great deal.
Firstly, the secure feeling in and around our home allows us to be relaxed all of the time. We do not have to rush to the nearest window to investigate possible dangers when outside noises are heard – OH! – what outside noises? Also, thank heavens for no barking dogs!
The feeling of community in the estate made our neighbours feel like old friends since the day we met.
Then there is the dam, which creates a holiday resort atmosphere. My grand children enjoy our fishing spot in summer and even my 7 year old grand daughter has caught her share of fish. Our largest Carp was 3,5kgs.
We cannot wait for our trees to be large enough to attract more birdlife. We already have pigeons nesting on one side of our house and some bats on the other side, which are useful in keeping unwanted insects, like mosquitoes, away.
It is also a privilege to have a first class golf course to boast with. All of the staff seem to have just that little bit more of a personal approach to us as residents, which is quite special.
